Pyrite
Pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, is an iron sulfide. Pyrite is known for its yellow/metallic luster and hue which it takes its name of fool’s gold. During the 16th and 17th century pyrite was actually used as an ignition for firearms! It’s also been used in batteries as a cathode. It’s used in many different forms and applications.
Metaphysical: Those who practice metaphysical and energy healing believe pyrite is a stone of luck and wealth.
