Onyx Sink

These beautiful sinks are all hand carved and polished from onyx! Onyx is a parallel banded formation of chalcedony. Onyx shares the same characteristics as agate, consisting of chalcedony and being a silicate mineral. There is one major difference between the two, the bands. Agate’s bands are circular while onyx’s are parallel. There are many varieties of onyx found all over the world. Many have inclusions of calcite and other minerals within.
