These pieces are hand-sliced from petrified wood tree fossils! Petrified wood’s various coloration comes from the different minerals that replaced the original prehistoric tree fibers. These minerals were usually the result of volcanic ash or mud. With this in mind, each piece is truly a unique one of a kind piece. Differing colors, shapes and sizes lend each piece its amazing characteristics.
