Indigo Gabbro Sink
Indigo gabbro is a purple mineral only found in quarries in Madagascar. Classified as a gabbro basalt, this sink has a lavender purple and dark grey mottled pattern polished down to a smooth finish. Gabbro is basically the same mineral as basalt. The main difference being the formation area; basalt is rapidly cooled igenous rock formed above the Earth’s crust after a lava eruption. Gabbro is slow cooled igneous rock formed below the Earth’s crust, resulting in a coarse grain.
