Green River Fossil Mural Four

This is an impressive mural that features an absolutely incredible inclusion. The 8″ Priscacara Serrate (the large fish on the right) was fossilized with an extended dorsal fin. This is highly uncommon and absolutely amazing to see in a fossil plate! The other two fossils included are a 6.25″ Mioplosus Labricodes and a 6″ Knightia Eocaena. The Mioplosus is similar in appearance to the Knighta, but grow much larger than the Knightia, upwards of 20″ compared to the Knighta’s 8″ max.
