Bismuth

Bismuth is a chemical element that is 86% as dense as lead. Only recently has it been discovered that it’s very lightly radioactive. Oxidization makes bismuth cast a rosy color, but with further heat and oxidization added it becomes iridescent and creates beautiful colorations. Bismuth is used for many different reasons: cosmetics, pigments, and even as an anti-diarrheal as bismuth subsalicylate.
